Loving the Dodge diesel
Well I just picked up a 96 3500 4x4 about a week ago to replace a Chevy half ton. (not knocking Chevy's, I just needed to be able to carry a camper for the great outdoors) So far I changed the box to a clean one, took the turbo silencer ring out so I could hear if the turbo worked and have gone over the truck to make up a wish list of add ons and I have already learned a ton from this site, so thanks already guys!!!!
I will add gauges first and then get carried away with some mods. I used to race a 440 Ramcharger around in the mud but this diesel stuff is new to me.
one question if if I may ask in this area though is a stock plate moved forward okay to start off or is best to order one as I read that a stock one moved can cause high egt's.
