Default Newbie with big plans

Hey guys. I'm new to the site in the fact that I just signed up, but I read about all diesels all the time. I'm here to learn how to build some awesome rigs in my future.

Yea I have it in my sig that I want to build a big hp 12V but my real plans are not completely obvious.

I want to build 1000 hp with some giggle gas while still being streetable. I plan on doing some twins, not sure what set up yet. Some big injectors like DDP stage 4s or something like that. Oh yea, I want to do some pulling, possibly, a little racing but mostly just some daily driving.

If anyone has any info that would be helpful, i.e. what year 12V to build, what pump to use, what turbo set up would be best, and some of the other normal ideas.

I've got very similar plans with an '89 Bronco I have. I'm going to put the 1st Gen 12v that I had into it...when I get it rebuilt

If you're looking for monster horsepower, I'd suggest a 2nd Gen 12v with P7100 injection pump. Check out the 2nd Gen 12v Bombs page. If you want to take things to the next extreme, I'd suggest P-pumping a 24v.

The diesel bombing world is a very addicting and sometimes painstaking world to live in, but it sure it fun!

Good luck on the build!

Be sure to be careful though. I've had some big horsepower gasser Bronco's on biiiiiiig rubber and they get pretty squirly, so if you go for a streetable 1000hp, be sure to put one ton axles under the beast and keep it on some short fat rubber so you can actually harness some of that power without ending up on your lid...which isn't hard to do, trust me.
