ceased 12 valve

Default ceased 12 valve

does anyone have any idea on how to get a 12 valve unceased

depends on what caused it, u can try spining it backwards, u might5 have to loosen all the main bolts if it spun a crank shaft bearing, if it filled the piston full of coolant from a crack cylinder or a head gasket failure, u would have to pull an injector. it all depends on what caused it. good luck

well it was took out of a wrecked truck and they pulled it out and it seat all winter and then i bought it from them cause it ceased up just by seating

If it has ceased do to weather it might have some rust between the piston and cyclinder wall. I would tear it down and do at complete rebuild.

pull the head and use wd40 or other pentrating oil to get the rust freed up. had a 22r that did the same thing. i just pulled the spark plugs and filled the cylinders with wd40 and let it sit for a few days. then used a breaker bar to get it turning and then put 10k on the engine befor it lost a rod. it was in my 82 rock crawler. good luck.

x2 I would also recommend this. Best way to ensure that the engine will run smoothly.
