I've been turned to the dark side...
Howdy y'all!
I currently do not a diesel but I'm officially in the market for a 1st gen 12v Cummins and hopefully I will have one by the end of this year. My current daily driver is a 2003 Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie with the 5.7L Hemi, it's a gas guzzler but one of the most fun trucks I've driven. I've decided to go ahead and get a diesel for daily driving and so I can tow my Hemi and my '65 Cuda. When I do get the diesel, the Hemi will be torn down and get performance mods such as a balanced 392 stroker kit, 273 comp cam, supercharger, ported heads... my list can go on and on, but basically my once daily driver will now be a show truck. I am also restoring the Cuda and it's getting a 340 out of my dad's old '70 Duster race car. Anyway, I'm here to learn and be active

I wouldn't count on it if I were you. On my truck I started out with "just a chip" thinking an extra 100hp would be more than sufficient... I've ended up over 600hp!

Nice! I need to restrain myself from bombing it (too much), I need to remember it's just my DD and tow rig, but everyone knows how well that works out. I need the money to work on the Cuda and Hemi but the diesel will be enticing
