Default new from SC, shopping for a truck

I've been reading the forum for a while, finally joined. I've enjoyed the threads and there is a lot good information.

Looking for a diesel crew cab, used. Sounds like the Fords are a little more expensive to bomb with less gain, the chevy's sound less expensive to bomb and a little more gain. Thoughts? The Dodge dealer is on the other side of town for me, so not looking for one.

Do your homework. There are plenty of pro's and con's to each brand. Pick your evil I suppose...
