Hey people, another Cummins gearhead here...
What's up everyone? Let me start by saying that I very much look forward to talking with all of you here on the board and hope that I can help a few of you out sooner or later. I've been through automotive tech school, so I can say I'm no stranger to what goes on inside and outside of the vehicle I cruise in. While the driveline ins-and-outs are nothing new to me, the electronics and management end of diesels is sort of a new world, and I'm pretty stoked to have the kind of information forums like this one can provide only a few clicks away.
I have both a serious love and appreciation for all things modified, and occasionally the throwback stocker will catch my interest. [Nothing quite like a '63 split-window Vette with a 427 underhood] I've owned just about every type of ride you can tweak; a 6" lifted Jeep XJ, a Brodix-headed 355ci S-10, three Mustangs (one of which made 600RWHP, still own another one in progress), an '03 WRX wagon that crapped on STi's, a Yamaha R1, several quads and dirtbikes, two gas trucks (one Ford, one Dodge), and finally own an '02 Ram 2500. I just picked it up about two weeks ago, and it's already wearing a CAI. 4" Turbo-back, FASS Pump and Smarty on the way... so that tells you that I'm the type that can't leave my cars alone for long.
Again, looking forward to speaking with all of you soon.
