New from Louisiana..
Hey! I'm DeLayne from the Lake Charles and Iowa area of Louisiana. I just bought me a '92 3/4 Dodge Cummins flatbed and it's a manual. We have to fix the pump but otherwise, it runs and shifts good and I got the truck for $1,000. I've been wanting to do a Cummins conversion into my '02 1500 Silverado and I know that'll be alot of work and fabrication, so my dad has been suggesting me to find another Silverado that's 3/4 or 1 ton that doesn't have a motor nor transmission and I'm hoping to find one that's the same style as mine that I can afford...other than loving Cummins, I also love hunting, riding 4-wheelers, welding, and stuff like that, but I'm here to learn more about the 12-valve Cummins and converstions, so any help would be great! Thanks!

Thanks! I just picked up the title a few hours ago and tomorrow, I should have it sitting at my grandparents place for a little bit! If the truck looked better, I would put liability on it but that's not the case, so I'll just have to drive it around in the field until we do the conversion and that will save me some money.
So, what's the easiest ways to get more torque and/or horsepower out of them 12 valves?
