I have a 2008 cummins that is stock and I need a little help. I have heard to do the egr delete and put in a smarty programmer and fuel mileage will increase and truck will run better. But what about the dpf? Is there any bolt on aftermarket part that will get rid of it? Also whatever programmer I use I would like for it to be untraceable. Any suggestons out there?

They do make a DPF delete kit. Contact or some of the vendors will chime in!

 

You will probably want to ask this question in the 6.7 Liter Dodge Cummins 07.5-UP section of the forum. You will probably get a better response. I am afraid I don't know much about them being a solid 2nd gen guy myself...

 

 

I know for a fact that PPE makes a progammer for the 6.7 and it IS UNTRACEABLE!!! I think that the smarty is not, it leaves its mark! LOL.. I would definately recommend u doin the egr delete!
