Default New owner of Dodge diesel

Hello everyone. I really like this forum. A lot of info and fun. I just purchased a 1990 Ram 250 with the Cummins diesel. It is a 2wd, automatic, single cab, and with only 95k miles. It is really clean and great to drive. I have question about the TV cable. I noticed the throttle is hard to hold down to maintain speed, so I got to checking and found the TV cable hard to push down. Seems to be dragging within the hsg. Is that a common problem? Where can a fellow get a new one? Or what may be another solution to the problem?

Thanks for all the help you guys give.

I believe there is a recall on that part.
