Default Clicking Noise Under dash?

Hey guys, i have a 1999 Dodge Cummins 24v and have had a very annoying metal on metal type of clicking noise coming from under dash on drivers side. wondering if anyone else has a similar issue? or if anyone knows how to resolve it. ive ripped apart most of my dash trying to figure it out but everytime it just keeps on clicking when the truck is goin down the road. thanks for any replies
