It does seem to be the prevailing ride around here

I love the look of the Dodge as well as the power and dependability of the Cummins engine.

I spent a lot of time last night just cruising the site, looking a the post a pic section and such. There are some sweet rides around this place! The Dodge, when lifted and properly "at-tired" ) looks awesome!

Again not knowing the pointy end from the flat end around a diesel, all I know is what I read and hear. I keep hearing about top end failures in upgraded applications (IIRC-head gaskets, etc?). Anything to that?

Also, I need the room in the back seat area, and the 250 "seems" to have more comfortable seating (leg rooom) in that area.

Frankly I haven't really ridden in either from that perspective, and I've only had the opportunity to drive a friends raised 03 250 once.

I'm hoping to be able to do a little test driving and sitting in some raised, Dodge Mega Cabs and Ford crew cabs, to get a true comparison.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Already feel at home and I can see I'm going to like this place
