Greetings all,

Glad to finally find a forum that seems to know what their talking about. I am looking to swap a 5.9 Cummins out of a '06 2500 Ram into my '98 V10 Ram, both 4x4's. I am going to have a lot of questions for you all, hope your ready to be pestered

First off, anyone know of any smog issues in Cal?
Should I swap the entire drive train (front and rear axles)?
Has anyone here done this swap?

Well, thanks for letting me join your forum, can't wait to get started.

Keith

If you decide to do it, snap some pictures and do a little write up for us.

checkout Diesel Engine Conversions - Diesel Bombers . California does not require smog on diesels older than 2007 1/2.
