Hello Everyone!! New chick here from CO. :)
Hello,
I found out about this site from a friend of mine on Facebook. I decided I'd come on by and check it out. I met a couple of friends of mine here in Denver, CO who own a Diesel Performance Shop. They both own diesel's and as soon as I rode in one, a 07.5 Dodge 3500, I was hooked. I started to want to learn as much as I could about diesel engines and how to make them run faster and just everything about them. They started teaching me a little, but they have become so busy now that I'm unable to get over there as much as I have been. I even went to my first Dyno Day in Fort Collins a few months ago. That was awesome!!!! It was put together by these friends of mine and I got to help out with calling the next person up and recording everyone's numbers!! I felt like a kid in a candy store with that the black smoke filling up the garage and wiping it out of my nose
and the loud rumble of the engines and just meeting some really great guys!!
Any ways, I don't own a diesel just yet, mostly cause at this time I can't afford one, but in the meantime I would just like to learn as much as possible and hopefully meet some really cool people along the way.
I'm glad I found this site.

welcome to db. always good to have people wanting to actualy learn about diesels instead of just getting them to make BLACK smoke. any questions u have, just ask. most around here dont mind helping someone who wants to learn.
But reading stuff on here helps also...well maybe not at first as a lot of things sound like a foreign language to me, but makes sense later when pointed out in front of me.
. I had the most fun in helping a friend put in a trans since he screwed up his 3rd gear showing off for a potential customer...men...
. Always have to show off. But it benefited me in the end. ha ha. Thanks guys for the warm welcome!
