Hi from newbie - Engine Museum

I have just come across your site thanks to Twitter. I am one of the volunteers at the Anson Engine Museum in Poynton, Cheshire UK. We are an independent museum run on a shoestring by volunteers.
Not sure what you might want to know about us so I shall just talk about some of our iconic engines to give you an idea what we do.
Despite this we have acquired a huge collection of engines including Mirrlees No 1. This is the first diesel engine that was ever built in the UK, in Glasgow in fact 1897. This season we have also taken delivery of a full-size replica of Rudolf Diesel's first ever diesel engine (the original is on display in Germany). Would it be helpful if I post some photographs of these?
As last year was the 150th anniversary of Rudolf Diesel's birth we run a Diesel Exhibition which recently was given a Highly Commended in the National Museums Awards (industry equivalent of the Oscars).
We run many of the engines at the museum so it is very much an active, noisy, fragrant place.
