Talking 6.5TD is it worth keeping?

Hello everyone. I have worked hard on my 6.5td, and sometimes wonder why.
The truck cost me a lot, and I feel entraped, and I know there are better trucks out ther but after you pour so much money and time, just giving up just not worth it. I heard a lot of horror stories about this engines, and guess what? I bought the truck, and the next day the engine went out. Well fighting and being pissed didnt solve much, so I began the process. It is a long story, it took me good year and half to get everything strait, and still fighting. New engine from Promar, and all the components pretty much. After a while it feels like an old friend, that you dont give up on. Someone told me to sell and buy a Dodge Cummins, and guess what I would love to, but after $15,000 that invested, kind of stupid ha. Sorry for the long post, but seems people dont understand the frostration we go trough.
I hope that if I use the truck, and not pretend that its a cummins, power stroke, or d-max
be ok I guess. What I mean, is people push 6.5 too far, and there not made that way. Well thanks for reading, and god bless the diesel engines, .

OBS chevy FTW. Keep the 6.5 and when it dies build it. That's the way to go.
