Default Squealing Turbo

I have an '04 F350 w/6.0. I just put on my Elite EGR Delete kit, the Edge Platinum Juice w/Attitude, a Volant Ram air filter, and Silverline 4" dual exhaust turboback. All went well. Upon test driving it for results, the turbo started up with a high pitch squeal...kind of like a burned bearing, but not one. It's not a whistle. Did a 1/4 mile run with the Juice Edge and turned a 15. Squeal persisted all the way through. Water pushed back and overflowed through the reservoir. Can anyone tell me what's going on? The engine never heated up and produced 26 lbs. of boost. Why the squeal and why the overflow? Thanks for any help out there.

Welcome to DB.You should put this in the powerstroke section,You most likely will get a better responce than in this section.I don't know much about powerstrokes, but it does sound like a bad bearing in the turbo.

the water thing almost makes me think headgasket?? But the turbo im not real sure you'd need to take the piping off of it and check it

if you have a high resolution camera take the intake pipe off. take a picture of the front of the turbo.

is what you have to do is check the shaft for play. in and out and up and down.
while checking up and down turn the wheel by the shaft to see if it touching the housing.

turbo's are not hard to rebuild. but the longer you run it it could ruin the housing.

if it's real bad you can tell the edge of the fins will be rolled over from hitting the housing
