Brand New to Diesels and this site
Well always start small right...
the name is Carl and i am in the Navy on SUBS. raised in WA state currently in CT serving our country and defending everyone's rights and their opinions... BUT i think that has already been covered in another thread. well as the name says i am new to diesel i have been and still am a Jeep man with the inline six. however with my familiy of 4 children we went and got ourselves a 2004 Ford Excursion with the 6L and it has served us VERY well... and with this latest purchase i have seen the light if you will and now i am looking for the money time and parts to convert my CJ7 over to diesel power.
i have already used the knowledge from some of you to help me get my truck running again
after my EGR valve choked the life out of the truck and stranded me in the driveway
(thank god it was not the freeway) well that is me so far. glad to be here and wanting to learn all i can about diesels and how they work so that i cna improve mine and get more out of my trucks.
