Default 6.7 liter nightmare

Here is a stupid question but i had to ask, since i bought my Dodge 3500 cab and chasis I have had two new sets of injectors and three turbos put on this truck all covered by warranty, thankfully. Here is the question can you put a 5.9 literdiesel in my truck as of right now the truck got some bad fuel and blew the injectors. at 1800 a piece it would it be cheaper to put a 5.9 in. Any help would be appreciated.

You came to the right site. CompCowboy on here is like the 6.7 man. You could put a 5.9 in your truck. Cheaper not maybe so much. Wheres your warranty or do you not have one.

Can we get a Mod to move this to 6.7 forums.

Welcome to db
Because of the emission controls and standards I'm pretty sure you cant put a older engine in a newer truck legally.

That is nuts. If you got bad fuel and you know where you got it from contact them. I have heard of people that have full insurance coverage on thier truck getting a new set of injectors threw the insurance company. Not sure of all the details but I know it has been done. Might be worth looking into
