thanks for the fuel filter help i bought a filter to change and some deisel fuel additive the truck started missing on me and stalling i started it up again and away i went and if stomped on it the motor would miss im assuming that i have a clogged fuel filter or water in the fuel.ill try this first and see were i get.Question 2 my heat does not work properly on my factory controls they kind of direct the air the right way but barely any heat, yet my h1 aux fan that heats the back etc. rocks what do i do?

does this rig have 2 seperate heater cores ?................one for the front and one for the aux heat?

Sounds like the blend door is sticking. Might be due to a weak vacuum pump, or a line is unplugged or leaking.

i have no idea , how could i check?the gm dealer in town replaced the air conditioning compressor and some other stuff they may have dissabled somthing i will find my bill from last year and see if they did some work on it im positive i had problems then.

On the older diesels, the vacuum pump was on the back of the engine, where the distributor would be on a gasser. On the newer ones, I'm not too sure. Might even be electrical for all I know.

Can look underneath the dash and see what it looks like. IDK if it's all behind or if it's kinda out in the open.
