Hello everyone I just bought my first diesel, 2008 6.7 Cummins. I've worked on gas engines and I'm pretty good with the basics on those. I've watched some videos online of what these diesels can do though so I want to get more in depth with this truck than I have with the gas engines. Any tips on what I should start with, it's stock right now, would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to filling my head with tons of knowledge.

 

Stick around long enough, and you'll probably learn more about diesels than you ever wanted to know.

Diesel fuel has more energy than gasoline, but it's not super gas.

transmission nuff said. get it built to where your goals are at. if you dont know what your goals are, just get full billet and be done with it

As said above do the trans first and then start adding power goodies. I made the mistake of doin the power goodies first and now my trans in suffering
