for the chip on your dad's truck...you cant beat a smarty or the Smarty Jr. Now like most chips this will only help mileage if ya keep your foot out of it and the smarty can roast a transmission faster than most

I have owned both auto and stick. Sometimes i miss my 5 Speed but when you hit that lock up switch on a slush box hold on.

I perfer a manual but its all up to you and what you want to do. I also own a 6.7 and love it but again its up to you. Welcome btw
