Hello fellow bombers! Wish I found this site before I put my truck in the shop. I have a 92 7.3 IDI Non Turbo and I developed some serious air infiltration problems that I could not pinpoint. Oh well, hopefully I get her back soon and I don't get beat up too bad on the repairs! :hellox::tu:

Hello diesel people.i have a 2001 F-350 7.3 and I have just finished my first sort of big job on it. I replaced the orings in the HPOP and I know that's not a big job but for me to figure out on my own what it was and what to do just by looking and looking in a book it was pretty good. My question is I seem to have an exhaust leak somewhere around the turbo. Is there going to be more damage done if I don't get on this now? How much power will I lose? Gas milage? Things of that nature. I love working on these engines verses gas it seems to make you feel smarter lol. Also one maybe simple question my negative battery cable has doe all it can do and now won't tighten down any further but still loose. Is there anything I can put around the post to make it tighter? Do they make anything for that? Well any help you can give I will be greatful. Thanks for all you do

The loose battery cable is because the post is to small. The auto supply sells lead CAPS to put on the the post to increase the diameter a 1/16th to an 1/8th inch.

I have an 05 duramax with efi, s&b, and 5" mbrp and was wondering if I have to have a lift pump or not?

Hello Everybody!:hellox:
First post! Glad to join the family and will do my best to stick inside the fence with the rules! I am 16 years old and the rig in my sig if its there is mostly my dads.... Reason I say that is well I dont know if y'all will understand but he was gonna buy an older truck but then I found an 08 for what him and I though wasn't a bad deal. So I put my saved up money into it and he paid the rest. I do the oil and fuel filter changes (first one yesterday!! :jump::tu:) anyways the truck isn't mine its his but when I get my N I get the truck friday's and maybe weekend if I can prove I'm responsible :tu: I hope you understand this and yes my dad and I have an interesting relationship :tu: I am by no means spoiled I think. I worked 2 summers in landscaping to make that money. Either way I don't know where I'm going with this I hope to be able to get along and learn from everybody! :c:
