New To The Site
hi, im 17 years old, i live in Butte Montana and will graduate in 2009. I own the best kind of truck there is, a DODGE. haha. It's a 115,000 mile 1992 power ram W150 (1/2 ton) with a multi-port F.I. 318 magnum, 1" throttle body spacer, 8mm Accel wires, and an open air cleaner. NV4500 5 speed, NP 241 transfer case, 3.54 gears (I hate them so bad, too high.), Dana 44 up front, Chrysler 9.25 with a posi. Pacesetter shorty headers (NO LEAKS!) with 2.25" true dual exhaust, no cats, dual in/out flowmaster super 40, 4X10" tips. 2.5" tach. BFG A/T Ko 30X9.50R15 tires. Steel front bumper, really good, solid truck. I've always wanted a 1st gen Cummins which im proud to say i will. In about a month or so i will own a 175,000 mile 1990 Dodge D250 CTD with a NV4500 for $2500. one thing tho, i hate 2wd trucks so.....when my 318 blows up i will tear both trucks apart, drop the Cummins into my chassis with its tranny because the input shafts are different, also the D250's rear end taht has 4.10's will go under my frame. buy a good used 3/4 or 1 ton front axle with same gear ratio and a NP 205 transfer case out of another Dodge in a junkyard and put it all together. 4" 3/4 ton diesel lift kit. Put the body on after getting body work finished. paint it and its done. CTD 1st gens run average $7000 here even for a ranch truck. I have ties to alot of people to get stuff cheap for parts. And that's my project. I hope to have fun on the site and meet great people.
