Long time 7.3 owner, new to Cummins, building a 1973 Fummins with my son using a 1989 12 valve. My father in law bought the truck new, wife learned to drive in it, and he basically beat the crap out of it and left it in a field. He gave it to my son and through middle school we took it down to the frame and rebuilt it using a lot of redneck/shade tree mods. Son drove it through high school then blew the 390. Decided to do some thing different and put the Cummins in it. Doing a lot of mods both to truck and motor. Learning as we go, have been a lurker here, but asked my first question so signed up.
