Last week I found a 1992 Ford E-350 extended w/ 7.3 and 4x4 conversion. It only had 55K miles and was basically an unused security truck (so I'm guessing it's got about a million hours of idling). Got it from a govt. auction site for $6400.

The auction site says it needs new batteries and new glow plug connectors.

I'm hoping I don't need many answers here, but der diesel is a new critter to me, so I'll ask some dumb ones, I'm sure!

I know I want to Turbo it, just light pressure to make up for altitude, so most of my questions will start there...
