Friday night I bought a 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman w/Cummins to tow my RVs with. I'm a mechanically knowledgeable guy, but this is the first diesel I have personally owned. So far, I'm pretty impressed with the engine and the truck in general. It sounds all business when you start it up and the exhaust brake sounds 'big rig' as hell.
After driving the Ford and the Chevy, I simply preferred to drive the Dodge. I have been a Ford guy for a long time and I kept my Ford truck too. The Ram may not win any categories by leaps and bounds in a head-to-head comparison, but the look, the interior, the way it feels/sounds/drives, makes the overall package the winner for me.
