Default Fuel pump on a 6.0

I have a 2006 superduty Ford, with a 6.0 in it. Luckily I have not been into the engine!!. I have made sure to NOT put a programmer on it, just added cold air induction and 4" turbo back exhaust. My issue is I am getting hesitation when I mash down on it. feels like its almost starving for fuel. I want to upgrade to the Airdog 150, fuel pump. The Airdog 100 is rated up to 500 hp, and the 150 is rated up to 800 hp, but I can get either for same price just at a different place. Would it hurt to use the 150 on my almost stock 6.0??
Any help would be appreciated.
Griff
