I have a 2011 cummins with egr pdf and throttle valve delete. Cold air intake with 5in exhaust and an J&is minni maxx. I am haveing trouble with my turbo. A couple weeks ago when I would start the truck it would have a loud whistling sound in th exhaust and wouldn't build boost and have tons of black smoke. When this first started I could kill it and start it back and it would run like normal even though sometimes I would have to restart it several times to get it to work right. And as long as I didn't kill it it wouldn't malfunction but now it is doing it all the time. On the rare occasions I get it to run it will cut out and jerk and smoke like crazy. But at times it will clear up and run like normal when this happens I still build 36 lbs of boost. It is showing 4 codes. P2262 p2563 p226c p040d. Dodge says new turbo time. But from reading stuff some people are saying it could just need a new vgt acuator. And some say I can just clean the veins in the turbo. Wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and if so how did you fix them.
