Default Gone to the Diesel Side

Hello,
Looks like the place to say I am new and green to Diesels well, kind of. Been selling Cummins re-power swap parts for about a decade now. Done a few mock ups to be sure our parts worked. Always been a Big Block Dodge guy until lately.
OK, what I have bought in the last year or so is listed below.

2012 Mega Cab 4x4 Longhorn Laramie w/68RFE, 4" Rancho lift, 34" tire, 3.73 axle ratio. Engine is all stock and no programmer, my wife uses this to tow the RV as she is a Travel ER Nurse. This is a really nice looking truck. Thinking about the Smarty Tuner for it to get the MPG up, its only about 13.5-15 now. Might even do the DPF pipe delete with the Sims.

My old Turd is a 2002 Quad Cab long bed 2WD w/47RE built with all the 48RE drums and such. About the only thing its lacking is the hardened input and output shafts. More clutches, valve body work, and more of the usual mods. Billet flexplate and Low stall billet converter. As long as the input shaft holds it should have no issue seeing 1000+ foot pounds of torque. It has the waste gate held shut with a stiff spring and a cheesy HyperTech 50009 programmer on the third setting. It gets 18-19 MPG and I dont baby it. Looking to get 4 or 5 inch exhaust first then fuel lift pump and also looking at the Smarty or Edge Comp for it.

Anyway, hello to all.
Thanks, Kerry
