Howdy Everyone!

I joined here because, after searching high and low, there seems to be lots more info here than other engine specific diesel forums.

Looking for a potential swap into my '99 Ford Ranger 4wd. The Cummins 3bt looks like quite the shoehorn project.

Just this morning discovered the Mitsubishi 4D56 series, which looks pretty promising.

Hey Jon, have you learned anything? I see a lot of newbie start threads but no follow throughs. I too am looking at a Mitsubishi engine (4D31 from a 1990 Fuso to be exact) to drop down into my '85 Toyota mini but I am having trouble finding basic info on said engine. Weight, horse power, etc. Would be great if someone out there could pass on some knowledge. Just saying.
