I'm hoping someone could help me I have a 1983 Chevy C30 with the 6.2 non turbo and a couple weeks ago the starter couldn't handle anymore use because it was the original starter. And It burned up and so I went through and checked my wireing and none of its burnt up and i installed the new starter and I'm not getting any power to it I tried the starting trigger and the old screwdriver trick but I'm not getting anything I'm used to working on gas engines so I'm a Gearhead but I'm new to the diesel seen And I don't plan on going back to gasoline so someone please if you can help me I sincerely would appreciate your help

 

Did you buy a factory starter ??

 

No I didn't I bought it from Autozone
