How can my F350 6.0 turbo ONLY overheat occasionally?
Hi All, I love reading your threads. Now I need help!
My F350 6.0 turbo diesel gave me a digital beep and read CHECK ENGINE OVERHEAT. I look at temp dial and it's at HOTTEST LEVEL...so I drive it into shop next day (and it doesn't get hot) and mechanic puts new THERMOSTAT in. All is good..for a week. One day it OVERHEATS again! NOW WHAT? Coolant is good. It's been running fine ever since???
