Hello to all of you fellow diesel enthusiast! I joined thissite to gain more information on a project I’d like to undertake: I’m VERY familiarwith the old Mercedes 617 turbo diesel motors and would like to put one in my1974 Ford F100 2 wheel drive, with auto trans. I see a lot of Jeep and Chevyswaps but nothing on the older Fords. If anyone has questions on the Mercedesor needs parts, I’m here to help. I’m a Chief Master Sergeant in the US AirForce, with Jet Engine/Aircraft back round……here to serve!
