I am Robert from Oregon. My 12v 1993 cummins is in a 1941 chevy military deuce. It has gotten to the point that I won't start without ether. I know, don't use ether! Only started it a few times to trouble shoot. Once started (and it starts right up with very little ether) it idles and runs fine but even after running to op. temp. still won't start without ether. Started all at once so it's not low compression. Has not over heated. Just won't start. The engine amazingly has enough power to push the 13,000 lb. truck down the road. I did spend the extra dough for the NV 5600 6 speed. Had it to 65 -70 mph.
