Newbie to diesels and db!
Just a young gun coming from oregon. Will be driving a 05 ram 3500, stock truck. It can from a old man that had it services every 7k miles or 6 months, whatever came first with the log book to prove it. It's a auto and was use to tow a 24' camper so im a little worried about the trans and will be getting a overhaul kit this spring, or summer.
On the list also for upgrades is cold air, tuner (either smarty or edge cts) and cat delete with a muffler. Needs bed lined and 5th wheel attachment brackets removed. Installing a manual sliding window since stock window was broken and it's not tinted like rear passenger so it looks quite odd.
I'm really excited about this rig, wheel liking be towing a off road rig up and down the west coast and a classic car so with the performance upgrades and towing a upgraded trans is a must. Rather spend a grand or two now than a replacement Transmision when it goes, and I won't be stranded (hopefully).
Current project is fixing this stupid sticky seats that are suppose to lift up easily, not need a screwdriver to push the mechanism down to raise or lower the seat.
Aweaome forum here, solved a couple problems already! Can't wait to learn more!
