Default 1997 cummins

hey guys. So I just picked up a 1997 12 valve 3500 from a farmer. The truck has 360000 miles on it. The truck sat in his corn field for six years. He needed it gone and said that if I could get it started and out of his field then the truck was mine. So I grabbed some new batteries and found out I needed a new starter. Then I checked all the fluids. All is good to go. The truck fired right up. Once I got some tires on it I took the truck to a dodge dealership all in all they did a complete fluid service and besides they were amazed on how much I acquired the truck for. They said it was good to go. I have put about 6,000 miles on it and I'm doing a third oil change on it. as I can tell the front crank case seal is bad and leaking a little oil. But I was just under there and realized some green fluid "coolant" on some of the oil drips that have hit the frame. I checked the coolant and there are no signs of oil. I will finish my oil change tomorrow just curious to ask if anybody thinks it's a head gasket or do I have some valves that need replacing. Thoughts?

Welcome to Diesel Bombers.
Glad you found yourself a truck for such a good deal. I would imagine that if signs of coolant on the outside of the engine block its probably leaking from a water pump, radiator, hose etc.
