Just purchased the 2001 D/D a few months ago...and I need to get more rpms out of it from the operators console and not pushing the accelerator with a stick..hehe..Will only turn up about 1500 rpms and I need at least 2000/2500 to get truck to operator at my working capacity. You can manually press the accelerator to get more...but I need it from operator"s console. Its an ex Penske rental truck if this means anything. Thanks in advance for any information.

welcome to db
if you can get access inside the ecm programming, you should be able to change the rpm settings when the pto is ingaged.
