Default New beast

Was able to buy a white 97 F350 XLT 4x4 crew cab with a 5 speed last week. This is my first diesel and so far I am loving it. Had a couple of fox body mustangs in the past but this is a completely different beast. The truck needs some work but it has character, do need to find a new passenger door thou. Supposedly it was involved in a hit and run while parked in a parking lot. Exterior of the door wiggles while driving. I bought it from the original owner who was a cattle herder. The rig has 265k on the odometer but looks completely stock. Like most of the 7.3s that I have read about, it does have an oil leak or leaks coming from somewhere. Haven't located the source yet but probably coming from up top. Looking forward to hours of reading and gaining knowledge on this engine.
