Got a couple of ??? I'm new to the ownership of a 2012 6.7 and I'm lookin to purchase exhaust and not sure what all I will need to buy and what exactly I need because I see some with bungs and some with out and I'm not quite sure if I can just take it to a shop and have them program the truck to not throw codes or if I will have to purchase a programmer as well....Any and all help or tips would be very much appreciated thanks!!!

You will need to get an exhaust system and you will need a proper tuner also to fool the ecm into thinking the dpf is still on. As for going to a shop and having them taking it off, most shops will not do it due to the goverment cracking down on them if they do it.
You can do it yourself it just takes time.
You can contact one of the vendors here and ask them what's involved,and the price for the system.
Since you have a 2012, does yours have the def also??

 

No I don't have the def on my truck. Thanks for the information it help me out now I just got to fined a tuner for a 6.7 I founded the exhaust I just can't fine the tuner for it.
