Smile Winter Texan

I am a crazy Canuck and a snowbird, retired, seventy three years old and spend the winters in beautiful Llano Grande Resort in Mercedes Texas. I own a 2006 GMC 2500 HD Duramax Diesel powered truck.
On our way home this past spring we stopped to fuel up at a small service station in Illinois .
I should have went to a bigger station I guess . we started having problems outside of Fort Wayne Indiana and the truck finally quit south of Fort Wayne . With the assistance of CAA triple A in Indiana and two most accommodating State Troopers we were towed into Marion and then on to Muncie where the we were told that the fuel injectors had to be changed apparently there were three that were not working. The owner of the garage suggested that it would be wise to install all new ones and I agreed three days later we were on our way and made it home to Ontario safe and sound.
I am now having a problem with the fuel rail ( low pressure ) so here we go back to the shop and who knows what sad news this will bring. Other tan that it is a beautiful spring day in Port Elgin Ontario and I think I am going to enjoy It.
Take Y,all.

Solved the problem. Removed the fuel filter and discovered that one of the wires from the water sensor was broke and that there was bit of water in the filter. I installed a new filter and sensor and my problem disappeared .The old girl runs great and the fuel rail code is gone.
Thanks for the welcome Tony. Bob. B.
