I am glad that I stumbled across this forum a few weeks ago while trying to troubleshoot my 6.5 suburban. I have already found a lot of great info on here and hopefully I will find some more.

I am a happily married, father of 3 girls(9,14,18)and arguably the fattest dachshund on the planet. As a family we enjoy dragging our travel trailer all over the east coast and soaking up the relaxation afforded by a campfire and cold beer. If I am not working, camping or running the kids to sports there is a good chance I will be found on the boat in the New River. It is nice living only 10 minutes from one of the best smallmouth bass fisheries in the world.

I am a machinist by trade and am fortunate enough to actually enjoy my job. I have a 03 gas suburban that I have towed our camper with for about 6 years. Last year we bought a much larger camper and I needed a little more motor. I debated on a truck but just love the ride and the room that a suburban gives.

I have already posted on the 6.5 board a few questions and look forward to hopefully getting my suburban back on the road soon with a little help from those of you who know far more than I.

I look forward to getting to know each of you a little more.
