Hello
Hello internet, new user here. My truck is a 1997 Dodge 2500 ECLB 4x4 auto. The only mods I have done to it are a BHAF and the exhaust is a downpipe, a straight pipe, and a muffler that might as well not be there. (like that when I bought it) It's loud as crap, needless to say. I'm in the middle of making a turndown so it at least points down and away from the truck. It runs good apart from a few issues with the transmission and the idle is weird. My plan for this truck is to make it last, and it just hit 180,000 miles two days ago. I do want to do some mild performance modifications though. Anyone who has driven a stock 12 valve knows they make a lot of noise with a lot of revving and not a lot of going. I would like to at least get it to the point where I can keep up with traffic without any extra effort.
On June 15th I leave for Basic Training for the US Navy! I enlisted as an Engineman. (Diesel Mechanic) I like any kind of diesel engine. 2 Stroke Detroits are my favorite!
Well that's my introduction! Glad to be here!
