Hi guys,
I'm harry387 from Pensacola Fl. I'm 73 and have a '84 K5 with a 6.2. I'm a little beat up from 40 years as a structural Ironworker. So far it has a complete new front running gear
and a new steering box, new shocks and brakes and tires all around. Had to drop the fuel tank for a new sending unit, got innovative and cut an opening in the rear floor and made a trap door so if I need to get to it again I wont have to drop the tank. Replaced the grill and headlight bezels with later model jimmy units from LMC. Got to get me a new welder old one is on it's last legs and does not have an AL gun, got a lot of holes and patches to fix, new cowl induction hood and tailgate too much rust too cut out and fill door handles and tailgate handle. Already have new carpet, sound deadener, heat shield and all new rubber seals. Got to fix AC before summer. Black all over no chrome all red interior, rims and bumpers powder coated black. Paint maybe next year, hopefully finished in three years.
