Hey hows it going? You know anything about shift kits, or any kind of chip I can put in my truck? Looking for better towing power..truck goes thru gears too fast..starts out pulling great then shifts and I lose all power? I have a '97 dually 3500 dodge 12valve with 160k miles...Thanks!

you cant put a chip or a programmer on the 12valve. Because it has a mechanical fuel injection, not an electrical injectors.
There are things you can do to the pump to up the power, but we need to fix your trans issue before then.
It sounds like your torque convertor is starting to slip.
You should start a separate thread in the 12valve cummins section so others can help with your slipping issue.
