Default A learning curb

I have a 95 dodge ram 2500 12v cummings with a banks twin ram intake , banks fat head , mbpr 5" exshuast . 5sp . I purchased the truck this way 4500$ . I had trans rebuilt with new clutch . I love my truck I've done a lot to it but when it comes to working on the engine I'm on pause. Now I'm starting to have problem with it starting . It takes 2 or 3 tries to get it to crank . I've been looking at a air dog or fads set up thinking that the fuel filter maybe the problem . So anyone with some helpful advice would be thankful
