Default noob here,got lemon,making lemonade

Hello everyone! I just bought a 2000 7.3 f350 from a shmuck. He hid all the issues. Said it was a plow truck. Had the plow in back. Turned out plow didn't work, motor and pump are junk, piston leaked. Four days later oil pan began puking, needed a new oil pan, water pump blew on day 8, ball joints were jam packed so they seemed fine and passed inspection, now they are clunking bad. Manifold let go. Someone took out half the plow wiring.
. so here I am at week two and I spent 1,000.00 on a newer plow blade and wiring installed, 1100.00 on manifolds, 1400.00 on oil pan ( pulled motor to do it), 575.00 on ball joints, 300.00 to fix blower motor that died (no heat).
. So I bought a truck for 10,600.00. And in two weeks I spent 4500.00. I could have bought a FAR newer truck.
. BOYCOTT CAR MART in ABINGTON MA. He said he would tale the truck back in the beginning if I paid him 2,000 for a restock fee!!! I'm in mediation with the attorney generals office.

so I may have some questions shortly and will greatly appreciate all input.
. Mods are muffler delete, superchips tuner, cold air intake.
. I'm trying not to freak out.

Welcome to the world of people who got ripped off on a used car purchase. If it makes you feel better, they probably outnumber the ones who didn't.

I will. I'm looking forward to this site. I moderated and founded a club years ago. And love the ability to get world wide input from knowledgeable people. Thanks.

Try living it. All this crap happened right now before I go on my honeymoon. Worst part is the truck was actually a gift from my wife. So I feel I have to fix anything wrong with it because no one has ever done anything that nice for me. My family gave me nothing most of my life. So I am beyond grateful for this.

I love the truck. If it doesn't run me Into the poor house fixing it. I'm emotionally tied to it because my wife bought it. My wife waited nearly 9 years for a settlement and spent 60% of it on this truck for me. So ill do whatever I have to to make it perfect. Thank god it has brand new body and paint
