Default Hi!

How's it going everyone! Obviously new to the site and new to diesels in general. Picked up my new to me truck, listed in my sig, about a week ago. Just rolled over 100k. I'm in the process of replacing the stock fuel system to the parts listed in my sig. Just waiting on parts to arrive. Truck is in excellent shape minus the fuel delivery and a few cracks in the dash. Been reading and trying to learn everything I can. Bought the truck to pull a Lance 2185 travel trailer. Traded in an 03 Sierra Z71 with the 5.3 and 145k on the odometer. Gave 8k OTD for the Ram. Love the truck. Wished I didn't have to shell out $1500 a week after I bought it but oh well. Hopefully this truck will last me a really long time.

About me, I served in the Marines from 01-05 with two tours in Iraq as a combat engineer. First tour with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion in An Nasirya, 2003, 2nd tour with 2nd Light Armored Reconnasaince Battallion in Fallujah 2004. EAS'd in 2005 as SGT. Loved every minute and regret ever getting out. I know I am biased but the Marines is where it is at. Semper Fi to all my fellow brothers and sisters out there and RIP to all those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to include all branches of the US Military and it's allies who have fought for the freedoms we all take for granted each and every day.

I've since joined the USCG as a weekend warrior. I'll keep my day job private for now. Been married for going pon 9yrs and had our first child, son, two yrs ago. Just busy lovin life and spending time with those that matter most.

Thanks. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm just fortunate to have gotten too experienced what I did, whether that be meeting others, traveling around the world, etc, that I wouldn't have experienced any other way.
