Default What am I getting into?

I have always believed that real trucks don't have spark plugs.

I recently (well today actually) got my first diesel. Pretty excited about it.

Unfortunately my weekend is so packed, and I am sick so I can't enjoy it.

My oldest Son turns 18 in a week or two and graduates tonight is very jacked- He is already asking about lifting it and putting stacks on it.

My wife of 18 yrs. has forbidden stacks

Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and say hi and apologize in advance for the soon to follow stupid questions I will be asking

How was your son's graduation?

Any decisions for the truck yet?

Thanks.

Graduation was great.

We are getting ready to start taking the heads off to replace the head gaskets and heads if they need it. The starter is fine, we drove it home under its own power. It will need new batteries, and I am planning on replacing the harmonic balancer and pulley.

We are also playing with the idea of running it on WVO. Not sure how this engine will tolerate that though. Regardless, if I start it up and shut it down on diesel and can run WVO the rest of the time, it will probably be cheaper to drive to work than my 2005 Subaru Outback XT. I drive 100 miles round trip each day. All highway.
