Hello to all I live in Penticton B.C Canada I own a 1996 Chevy 1500 6.5 diesel and a 1997 3500 dually 6.5 diesel both have serviced me well. In this part of the country you need power and fuel economy for all the mountains here. Unfortunately there isn't a good diesel mechanic around here or I haven't found one in any case I have had better luck fixing my own trucks. I have grown up with a family of racing and garage owners so I'm purity good with a wrench and can diagnose most problems. But now I need external help so once I find the appropriate forum I will post my questions there.
