Hi everybody
Hi, My names Clay McCallum I'm a 44 yr old contractor in San Diego living with my beautiful wife Alison, my young boy Caden and a happy attention ***** of a white pit bull named Pearl.
I bought my diesel In the summer of '99 as I ordered my 1st brand new vehicle through a local dealer. This truck has been fantastically reliable and has never let me down.
She's a 2000 f250 super-duty, lariat, 4x4, extra cab, Long bed, with a Leer shell on it since day one.
The only upgrades i have done mechanically are a Hyper tech 2 tuner and K&N intake.
My truck is getting older (200,000 miles) and I need to start doing some good stuff to her and bring back some of my personal interest with her again. She's got a lot of potential still but......
She needs some love! A lot. We've been through a lot together and she's never let me down. Some TLC, minor repairs, mods and a few good upgrades and she should have us both on the good foot here. So I hope I can learn what 'the cool guys are doing here'. I'm a big fan of learning from other people's experience and passing on mine. I have not worked on diesels a bunch, just mine. So far I haven't done too much.
I'm running Amsoil which I think I've got some good things to say about amongst other things.
Okay, Off to work. I'll check in later. -TF
